These Terms of Use govern access to CarDealer.com and requests submitted through the website. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement to submit a vehicle transaction request.

2. CarDealer’s service

CarDealer is an automotive brokerage and lead-connection service. We help vehicle sellers and shoppers connect with independent dealerships, buyers, or sellers. CarDealer is not the buyer, seller, lender, insurer, transporter, repairer, or warranty provider in every transaction.

3. No guarantee of an offer or transaction

Submitting information does not guarantee an offer, vehicle match, financing approval, specific price, response time, pickup, delivery, or completed transaction. We generally aim to provide an offer or status update within one to two business days, but dealer and buyer availability may affect timing.

4. Your information and responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You must have authority to submit information about a vehicle and to sell or transfer it. You are responsible for reviewing all vehicle, price, title, financing, inspection, transportation, warranty, tax, registration, and transaction documents before accepting them.

5. Offers and vehicle verification

An offer may be based on the information you submit and may be subject to verification of identity, ownership, title, liens, vehicle identification number, mileage, equipment, history, and physical or mechanical condition. A participating buyer may revise or withdraw an offer if information is inaccurate, incomplete, or materially different from the verified vehicle.

6. Independent providers

Independent dealerships, buyers, sellers, finance providers, and transport providers are responsible for their own representations, licenses, conduct, products, services, documents, and transaction obligations. Their additional terms and privacy policies may apply. CarDealer does not control and is not responsible for every act or omission of an independent provider.

7. Pickup, delivery, payment, and fees

The dealership or buyer completing a transaction is responsible for confirming pickup or delivery arrangements, payment method and timing, title or lien handling, and any transaction-specific fees. Review the written terms before transferring possession, signing a title, or paying any amount. CarDealer will not ask you to pay by gift card, cryptocurrency, or account password.

8. Communications

When you submit a request, you ask CarDealer to contact you about that request by the contact methods you provide. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You may ask us to stop nonessential communications at any time. Transactional or legally required communications may continue as permitted by law.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use the site unlawfully; submit false or misleading information; impersonate another person; interfere with the site; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malicious code; scrape the site at scale without permission; or use CarDealer content in a way that infringes intellectual property or other rights.

10. Intellectual property

The CarDealer name, site design, text, graphics, software, and other site content are owned by CarDealer or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms provide a limited, revocable right to use the site for personal, lawful purposes.

11. Disclaimers

The site and brokerage services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. CarDealer disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CarDealer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, use, or opportunity; or conduct of an independent provider. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to any rights that applicable consumer law does not allow the parties to waive.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
