Privacy Choices

Use the instructions below to submit a privacy request or ask CarDealer to limit certain uses or disclosures of your personal information.

Available requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, information about disclosures, or an opt-out of certain sales or sharing. You may also ask us to stop nonessential marketing communications.

Submit a request

Email support@cardealer.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” State the type of request, your full name, the email address and telephone number associated with your CarDealer request, and the state where you live.

Verification

We may request additional information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Information collected for verification will be used for that purpose. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may request proof of the agent’s authority and verification from the consumer.

Sales and sharing

CarDealer does not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information to independent dealerships, buyers, or sellers when you ask us to seek an offer or find a vehicle. Depending on applicable law, you may ask us not to use or disclose your information for purposes treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. An opt-out may limit our ability to continue searching for an offer or vehicle on your behalf.

Response

We will acknowledge and respond to a verified request within the time required by applicable law. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions.
